Troy has extensive experience in large top 15 ASX financial services companies, where he has held senior leadership positions, interacting at the board and CEO level. He has led teams of over 500 people, been responsible for net profit contributions of $100 million and has experience in complicated transformational change programs. Troy also has extensive experience in corporate agribusiness investment. He has overseen the distribution network for over 15,000 family owned SME and agribusiness clients with more than $12 billion in assets.

Marketing, Projects & HR Manager
Laura Rumph (B. Agricultural Economics) was appointed to the position of Manager Marketing, Projects and HR in April 2018. Laura has worked in the Banking and Corporate Agriculture space within both retail and investment bank institutions in Sydney and Regional NSW. Laura has always been immersed in the agricultural sector, having grown up on a mixed farming enterprise on the Monaro NSW and believes the sector holds an extremely bright future. She will oversee all aspects of marketing, communications, human resources, and project management within Sprout Ag and is pleased to be able support the business in providing finance and advisory services for the food and agribusiness sector.

Brecken Curtis B.Bus was appointed as Sprout’s Chief Operations Officer in April 2016. Brecken has worked with some of the most successful producers in Northern Australia, assisting them to expand their operation and significantly increase their production and return on investment. Brecken has overseen the implementation of risk management and governance strategies for many large scale beef operations. Over time Brecken has developed a keen interest in professionalising agriculture and increasing profitability and returns to investors. As a personal investor in agribusiness, Brecken is highly passionate about the industry’s prosperity.

Sophie has a strong Agribusiness Banking and Finance background, having previously worked in Central and Western Queensland for a major financial institution. Having grown up on a property in Central NSW, Sophie is very passionate about agriculture and delivering fantastic customer service. David holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics at the University of Sydney and brings a wealth of operational and financial expertise to Sprout Agribusiness. David’s extensive leadership experience across the financial services industry has seen him involved in a cross section of Australian farming operations including Australia’s largest farming family’s and Corporate Agribusiness clients. David’s experience spans a broad range of agribusiness industries across Australia, representing all parts of the supply chain. Troy has a wealth of knowledge through his prior agribusiness banking experience and is very passionate about assisting family farming businesses grow. Coming from a farming background, Troy is dedicated to helping the agri sector develop and grow, prospering into future generations. Troy has a particular interest in alternative finance and funding solutions, recognising that there is a finite period of time to increase ones wealth. Brecken is heavily involved within the local Qld communities and strongly believes in continuing to develop the prosperity of the agricultural sector in his region. Airlie is originally from Yass in Southern NSW, but now lives and is heavily involved in her husbands mixed farming operation east of Dubbo. Virginia has worked in the rural banking sector in Southern NSW for over 13 years, with specific focus in account management and customer relationship management. Virginia provides key financial support and compliance services to both our Managing Partners and clients, and understands the varied complexities of the agribusiness industry. She is very client-focused and loves working in a dynamic industry where people are passionate about what they do and what they produce. Virginia grew up in the Southern Tablelands region of New South Wales, and now lives there with her husband and three children.
